PADI Discover Scuba Diving

PADI Discover Scuba Diving with Essex School of Diving in Colchester, Essex. Experience the thrill of trying scuba diving while under the supervision of a PADI Professional in a swimming pool (confined water) environment. During this experience, you will be introduced to some basic concepts and underwater skills. Instructor guidance ensures you learn and have a great time and loads of Fun as you experience the excitement of being an underwater diver for the first time. Get ready to go Diving SCUBA today!
	As soon as you take your first breath underwater, you could be on your way to taking an internationally recognised certification such as the PADI Open Water Diver Course. The DSD combines your first tentative steps with practical underwater skills that help you interact with this fascinating environment. You may also learn some skills from the Confined Water Course during your Discover Scuba Diving experience. Prior to attempting these skills, your instructor will brief you of what is expected. Then you and your instructor should agree to practice these skills. After completing the dive, your instructor will debrief you.
What do I need to start? You must be at a minimum age of 10 years old - there is no upper age limit, providing you are in reasonable health. You will need to complete and sign some PADI documentation before you start. We will supply these forms for you or you can download them from our PADI Diving Courses Page.
	What will I do and what do I need to do this. When you participate in a Discover Scuba Dive, you experience excitement, adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the feeling of weightlessness and the exhilaration of breathing underwater, just like the Astronauts feel when they travel in to Space. Only a diver knows this feeling and so will you soon! Your first dive under water is a unique experience and one that you will savour forever. You will first need to check our availability and book with us. All you need to do then is to bring a towel, swimsuit and old T-Shirt. We supply all the rest, such as equipment and of course, one of our friendly experienced professionals to guide you from start to finish during your time with us.

Do I have to do this Induction to Scuba Diving every time I want to Scuba Dive? You can avoid repeating the Discover Scuba Dive experience by booking on to our Confined Water Course to continue your adventure and work towards gaining your full PADI certification. Once you have your full PADI certification, you can then dive anywhere in the World without going through the repetitive and some what 'limiting' and time consuming DSD routine every time you want to scuba dive while on holiday.
